I’ve got a 10 year old who is still 100% in. I’m not to the point where I think we need to tell him. But his 5 year old sister is asking more questions than he’s ever asked.

You sure he’s not pretending for his sister?

I’d say somewhere around 7 or 8. It’s been a long time.

Absolute sure he’s not. One reason why I’m fine with not telling him is that he’s the type to tell his sister Santa isn’t real. Tact and social cues aren’t exactly a strength of his.

I think around 7 or so maybe. She said "why does Santa leave toy trash behind" a couple of years in a row She was trolling young.

Your 10-year-old is stringing you along for the extra gift. He’s been knowing.

We moved from believing in Santa to believing in the Magic of Santa.

My oldest believed until he was about 12. My daughter, who is 10 probably won’t last that long. She’s been questioning the whole thing for a couple weeks now, so this might be her last year. I still have another kid who is 3 to enjoy a couple more years with.

My 10 year old is also still all in on Santa and the damn elf.

She is a super smart kid too. Way smarter than I was at her age. Sometimes when she is talking about the elf I just stare at her in disbelief that she doesn’t know it’s us.
