I don't mind spending money on something that's not a piece of crap. Meant for my parents in their 60's and 70's
Looking at Tommy Bahama but reading they went downhill

We still use Tommy bahama with the cart they attach on, just rinse them like anything else exposed to salt

Tommy Bahama, can get them pretty cheap at Costco

Been using the Tommy Bahama's from Costco for the last 4 years. I give them a good soak every day after visiting the beach though. For like $35 a piece I think I got my money's worth. Next year I could trash them and buy new ones if I needed to and I wouldn't feel bad.
Went to Maui for my honeymoon last year and was surprised it seemed like every company we did an excursion with used the same ones.

Another vote for the Tommy Bahama ones at Costco, very solid and easy to lug around.

That GCI is $70 and sold out on their site, and no backpack carry, just a handle. And a rocker? Sand has to get all in those springs. Na I’ll pass

Park It Voyager, expensive but we use them for tons of things besides the beach. Has a cooler that clips under the seat. Very good construction. I like that they sit a little, higher than a regular beach chair.

Renting this recliner type is the best:
But if you are staying at a beach house or such where there is no rental service, the zero gravity recliners are a great substitute:
Nothing like putting that recliner back under the umbrella, and taking a nap to the sound of the ocean and beach.

That thing looks awesome

The concern I would have for the Tommy Bahama chairs is they sit very low to the ground. It may be hard for a 70 year old to get out of that chair.
