Best Hotel in BR

Have a friend coming to Baton Rouge in a week- any recommendations on the best Hotel ? Been a long time since I've been in a hotel in BR and it was the Hilton.?

Downtown the Hilton and the Watermark are your best options. Nothing super fancy but nice enough.

Really depends where in town he is going to be. Downtown there are a few nice options, then you have the Marriott on college and the rennaisance on bluebonnet which are both pretty nice also.

Depends on what side of town you want to be on.... I would say the renaissance, the Hilton downtown, or Lauberge.

Renaissance on Bluebonnet is a legit full service 4 star hotel. Free parking and away from hustle of downtown if he does NOT want that atmosphere.

My work friends always liked the Double Tree by Hilton on Constitution, just passed the Emavssy Suites. Little bar inside. Always worked out very conveniently.

As far as a hotel goes I can second L’auburge if you are willing to be that far from downtown.

Has anyone stayed at Watermark? I have a shite ton of Marriot points and have thought about getting a room, but haven’t seen any reviews.
