I had a 24 foot cabin cruiser have an engine fire with the big movie syle BOOM, only thing that stopped it burning was when it melted below the waterline and the lake overtook her.
I still have the burn scar on my leg 30 years later.

Forget about who is filming...
Those two guys in the boat are old enough to have some sense and get off of a boat that is on fire. They are not stupid teens or anything like that.
Makes me wonder that maybe there was something on that boat they didn't want to leave behind.

Either don’t have a fire extinguisher or life jacket on board as required by law or…………..borrowed boat from someone and don’t even know there are fire extinguisher and life jackets on board.

This for sure. If the possible explosion didn't kill you outright, good chance you'd be knocked unconscious by the blast and drown------either way, you're dead.
Yeah, I'd have been off that boat long before those people finally "Abandoned Ship"-----especially with a boat nearby to get me out the water and safely away from that.
