Couvillion is a family name.

Courtbullion is your fish soup with tomato gravy and lots of onions.

Picante means hot. Sauce picante is a hot red gravy with meat. Rabbit is common.

Laissez les bons temps rouler Let the good times roll.

Couvillion [coo vee yon] = Tomato stew with fish

Picant= Tomato stew as above but with meat other than fish

Be careful with this one around real French folk. It's common to call your kids cooyan when they do something silly. It does t have the same meaning in real French. My wife lost her shite first time I called our little boy cooyan.

Eta: I didn't notice that it had been corrected already. I saw it and was so triggered I had to correct it immediately.

You do know they have "Cajun Language translation sites" available on the net. And the good part is they know how to spell phrases and words correctly, as opposed to the above bad attempts by you.

I knew that in my head . I’m sitting here eating breakfast and I have a jar of Pace Picante sauce on the table for my eggs.

When I read the OP “ Couvillion” banged me n the head.
