There's a car in front of him. He can't just run through them to go faster.

I would see your point if he was on the white car’s arse, but he’s a good distance away. He speeds up to close that distance when he realizes what black truck is up to.

Kind of agree he and the white car are not actively passing at the beginning though we can't tell if they just passed someone.
Black truck had plenty of time to get in front of the white car if he was really in a hurry. The only thing worse than a bad driver is an aggressive bad driver.

Unfortunate the black truck didn’t end up in the water.

I just watched the video again. He wasn't that far back, seemed like a reasonable amount of space to me. You're not supposed to tailgate. Especially since he could see the car in the right lane and that they were gaining on it, no sense in trying to pass in the right lane or you end up like Mr Truck. He only got really up in the car's arse because Mr Truck tried to pass them both but then realized there was a car they were passing in the right lane and then tried to squeeze in the middle of them to justify him trying to pass in the right lane.

You’re part of the problem jackass. You don’t get to swerve in front of someone because the other person isn’t tailgating. Jesus Christ leave a few minutes early to get to your shift at McDonald’s on time

No need for name calling or blasphemy I didn’t say the black truck had the right to do what he did. Both at fault.

You mean the safe and legal distance? You do know tailgating is illegal, right?

No he doesn’t

This thread is a perfect "Louisiana Drivers" thread.

Right? The other driver is at fault because he wasn’t tailgating. Guaranteed to have no insurance or state minimum

minimum
Is it still 10-20-10?
Should be 50-100-50, and require a $5000 license fee, and a HS diploma, and a written and verbal understanding of the English language.

The truck should have received a wreckless driving charge
Fat man should have received attempted murder
Purposefully spinning out a vehicle going 65 mph on suspended bridge ain’t no joke

He’s traveling way closer than is recommended (4 seconds) but not tailgating. He sped up to close the distance because the black truck would have made it significantly less safe of a situation had he cut in front of him.

Too bad that PIT maneuver didn't launch the black truck into Lake P.

People in this thread will drive like this for miles because you can't break the rules or squeeze through the person blocking traffic.

I always wanted to do that but my insurance is high enough.
