I haven't used it but the things I've read about it are promising (EPA registered anti microbial).

It's a little expensive at $30/gallon.

Foster 40-80 is also EPA registered, works very well and is $55/ 5 gallons.

No, I don't sell Foster or work for them.

I've used their products successfully in mold remediation for 13 years now.

Yes. It works very well and is much better than bleach.

Quad Stat---Call National American Sales in Thibodaux. They sell it for around 30$ a gallon. Mix a half cup with a gallon of water and kill all mold /spores.

Have a buddy who is trying to clean up homes for several family members. Here is where he is at:

"We have scored flooring and we've ripped out the majority of sheet rock and have a fan blowing all night. Just trying to get the last bit of sheet rock out."

Should he just go ahead and spray/wipe down everything with concrobium? He's a little overwhelmed and needs a little guidance.

It just came in.

Ordered it online.

WTF. Do not dilute? What the hell am I gonna do with one gallon if I can't stretch it? One gallon isn't enough to treat a whole house even.

Am I just screwed?

it was a concrobium tri-fogger or some similar name. Ordered online from HD.

My oldest sister got 4 inches of water in her house. She will NOT leave her house.

I had to find a product that was not laden with overpowering fumes and also that would not be dangerous to her pet and her husband who has COPD. Bleach was not acceptable!

I bought and sent Concrobium for the following reasons:

Concrobium

Eliminates and prevents mold
Performance guaranteed
Non-toxic ingredients
No bleach or harmful fumes

Eliminate mold, clean mold and prevent mold with NO bleach, ammonias or VOCs.

The coverage per gallon is 400 sq ft if sprayed or 1,200 sq ft if fogged.

Usually the first thing one does is check the coverage of a product before they buy it so that they know how much to buy.

Yes, I have an old shed that had a lot of mold on the rafters due to poor ventilation and roof leaking.. I decided to try Concrobium mold killer before ripping out the framing, as the wood was not rotted.. I saturated it all, let it sit for an hour, did a light sanding, then applied another coat saturated coat. It's been a year now and no more mold.

Question for you: I see Foster 40-80 is great for pre-cleaning but it looks like Foster Products - Full Defense - 40-25 may be a better fit for prevention? Thoughts on this?

ordered the fogger and 4 gallons on Amazon for just a little over $300 for a friend. Pretty sure it will only need one gallon for his gutted home. The other 3 will be used for his other friends homes.

Fogger

4 gallons of Concrobium

I got some Renown fresh citrus disinfectant, label says it will kill HIV1, so hoping it will work against mold. Or should I just go get some concrobium to be safe?

Not sure if you are serious but if so, I'd say HIV is a virus that is super easy to kill (when external to your body, that is). Mold -- not so much. Even bleach won't kill its spores. You need to get something that is designed for addressing mold.

Base chemicals are didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride and dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride.

Any of you Walter White types know if this will work? Probably just going to go get some concrobium to be safe

Paging OhMy:

Since you are a professional and I am hoping to spray this weekend, a couple of questions for you:

1) I see Foster 40-80 is great for pre-cleaning but it looks like Foster Products - Full Defense - 40-25 may be a better fit for prevention? Thoughts on this?

2) If it were you, would you pick up Concrobium at Lowes or order Fosters and wait for it?

3) One of the above posters mentioned a fogger. I was thinking of spraying. What do you guys use?

4) Any tips or tricks that you would recomment?
