Why does everyone here think the rules don't apply to them?

He was super drunk and fell and broke
His hip. It was during hip surgery when he had 3 heart attacks.

I think you’re wrong to include your statement “there’s no excuse why somebody can’t get back and shape and improve their health.” Your posts makes it clear that Butterbean didn’t do this on his own, he had Diamond and many other to help him on his journey, along with medical care and other resources that many people lack
Why? Anybody can stop eating bad food and do the basic excercise of walking. You don't need a chef or a personal trainer.
If the average person started cutting calories slowly while regularly getting 10k plus steps they would vastly improve their health.

One of the LOUDEST atmospheres I've ever heard in the dome is when Sting dropped from the rafters for the first time in the dome. Crazy loud.

Was Butterbean an eight time tough man contest winner?

Definitely. You can tell he cares about the people he tries to help. If you watched Jake the snakes journey, DDP had to have a ton of patience with him.

That was fantastic.

I pay my respect to the patron saint of hulking it out every time I pass the Performance Center.
That said, that place is falling apart.

Diamond Dallas is a badass name for a badass human.

Great interview thanks for sharing.

Jake was my hero as a kid. After watching his episode on A&E it was like holy shite what a dark past he had! Pulling the curtains back was more wild than the characters some of them played on tv.

That was a great video and story.
I had no idea DDP was doing this or that he had gone on Shark Tank. I watched that clip as well (he didn't get any funding, but I assume it was a great marketing tool for their business).

Listed to his Rogan podcast recently. He seems like a genuinely good dude.

Yeah he's been trying to make DDP Yoga into a thing for like a decade now. That's why he makes these videos (marketing).
That documentary on Jake the Snake was an informercial disguised as a documentary, essentially.

I’d say it’s more than a thing.

I believe Diamond gave Scott Hall a few more extra years from the condition he was in at that time.
He also gave Hall an opportunity to go out with a little dignity. His legacy would have been very different if he had died 10 years ago.

But at the end it ended up not working for Scott hall.sadly
The plandemic lockdown killed Scott Hall. Being stuck in his house, not able to be active, his condition deteriorated. He took a fall and broke his hip. He was lying on his floor for days before DDP found him. He died shortly after hip surgery due to a series of heart attacks caused by a blood clot.

Hard to believe a guy once described as “a baked potato with arms and legs” has ever been in shape.
