Good for him! If I am in the aisle seat, I stand up and allow those in my row go before me so I block the aisle from folks like this.

All I want is for people that are in the aisle and near me while I am seated is not to pass gas.

But what I do hate is people that take their sweet arse time getting off the plane.

I don’t take my time; I’m up an ready. Just not going to blow past rows of people ahead of me.

The fact that those people wouldn’t let her cut in line to the front, means all those people are racists. All those passengers are white supremacists. She should have been paid reparations right then and there.

On the other hand, why not just embarrass her by repeatedly saying excuse me and refusing to yield.

bc what is that REALLY going to add to my life, when you really think about? i just really don't care that much, about something that insignificant to my life as someone getting off a plane a few spots before me, to make a big ordeal about it, and/or an arse of myself in the process by being "that guy"...

realistically, it's an annoyance, but y'all acting like this is a fricking travesty and one of the most important issues of our time... it's almost like some of y'all just want an issue to be mad over, and if someone doesn't see it the same way, then you'll be big mad over that too... what a miserable way to go through life, always mad and making such insignificant issues huge ordeals.... i just don't get it, but to each their own i guess

i mean, it's ridiculous when you land and pull into the gate and everyone automatically jumps up... and then you can see people start their jockeying and shite... and yeah, it pisses me off when people from the back go darting up to the front b/c they don't have a carry on or whatever... but it's also not a hill i'm gonna die on either...

Yea, it is a bit ridiculous. But then on the flipside, then you have the a-hole that remains seated and isn't really paying attention to when their turn is coming, then has to get up at a snails pace, figure out how to open the overhead, get their heavy bag out that probably barely fit in the first place, etc.

I fucing warning yall. People on here gloating a jeering that Spirit went belly up.

Just like if California were to burn up or NOLA to go underwater. The people that make those places terrible aren't going down too. They will just spread and infect other areas.

yeah, i just don't see "taking a stand" about douchebag plane disembarkers is that important in the grand scheme of life...

Society is built on societal norms. One norm is wait your freaking turn and disembarking in an orderly fashion. It’s not a tough concept to grasp.

You're being "that guy" ITT....get some self awareness jackass. We have rules in society, and society crumbles when people take an apathetic stance towards them. This is but one example, a microcosm, of a larger societal problem. So yeah, it is a big deal. And yeah, it does and will affect your life. Just not this particular incident.

Oh, I'm an aisle blocker too. and this sprinting past folks ahead of you is ABSOLUTELY, not confined to one race.

The only time aisle hopping is ok is if you’re late on a connection and you need to move to the front to sprint to your next gate.

In that case ask the FA to make an announcement during taxiing that you need to budge. Otherwise wait your damn turn.

Agreed.

Even if FA didn't say anything, if this lady said, "I'm really sorry to ask this, but I'm at real risk of missing my connecting flight, would you mind if I moved up a bit in line?" she would've had no problems.

I've done that before when I really think I might miss a connection and never have had issues.

I had a several dots not feathers try to literally barge their way to the front of the plane.
I asked if the plane was on fire what’s the rush? They ignored me.
It happened so quick they literally blocked me in my row.
I normally don’t care. A cowboy a few rows in front of me block them from advancing.
They had to wait at baggage claim like the rest of us.
Truly idiots.

This is the way. And if they're ladies or elderly, I ask where their bags are and get them down if near me.

Wish he did it without the profanity, it cheapens the lesson being given and probably some children on the flight.

But I get it...
