I’ve been having these for about 4 years. Was just casually taking them off yesterday and right side piece that slides behind the ear broke in half.

I remember they used to have a pretty much no question asked warranty.

Any of you baws dealt with this as of late?

Go to their website and start a repair order send them $25 and your glasses and they will send you a new pair or repair yours.

Most definitely. I sent some in last year, and I would swear they were new when I got them back.

I just did a few months ago. New pair cost me $75 plus tax if I recall. It took about 3 weeks total

If it’s just the frames they will pop out your lenses and put in a new frame for around 25 dollars. If it’s the lenses they will send you a brand new pair of shades for 75 to 100 depending on which kind you had
ETA they will not replace just one lens

I break costas without trying. I got a pair of Breakline’s and they’ve been great. Plus they have a lifetime warranty and loss replacement policy. They’ve been great. 10/10 would recommend.

They will send you a new pair but charge you more than a new pair costs. At least in my case. I just went and bought some Smith's and told them to keep the broken glasses. I think Costa wanted like $160 to replace them.

I never get the storied customer service. It's always a hefty fee for any repair. And if you don't pre authorize repairs, prepare to get your glasses back in the spring.

They’re very similar in my experience. I know that breaklines polarized lenses are made by Zeiss.

Yes, Chainsaw. But you have to write them a strongly worded letter, and tell them you're president of a consumer eyewear group.

Same exact thing happened to mine and they replaced them.

I didn’t pre authorize and got new pair in about 3-4 weeks. Maybe they’ve gotten quicker or I just got lucky.

Myself included....twice. Second time they didn't have the color that I had anymore in the fantails so they let me pick whichever other kind I wanted...Every time I sent them back, which was about 3-4 times, it was like $11. I did not preauthorize any repairs.

Purchased mine in 2006. Have sent them back at least 4 times for broken lenses, arms, etc. Got two new pairs. $25 bucks each time. I feel like I owe it to them to purchase the next pair. Great company.

I had some that became delaminated, they sent me a new pair. If you mess them up then they fix or replace but you have to pay more.

Maui Jim ftw.

costas' repairs and customer service sucks balls. I gathered up all the mates' broken costas from a recent fishing trip to guatemala. Repair bills were between 50 and 100 bucks a pair. If your product is junk at least repair it for a reasonable price.

I wore Costa for like 10 years, switched to Maui and have not liked them. I have two pair of broken Costa in my desk I am now reminded to send in.
