She used that love of nose candy as an excuse sweet talk a judge into absolving her of hundreds of thousand in debt to numerous merchants around the South. People I was close to were among them.

Saw her a few years ago on a tour for her first album in forever, which won the Grammys for best country album and best country song. She put on a good show. Has another new album just out.
