Robert Wadlow is from the same region my family is from. He's from Alton and my family had farms all around the area. My grandpa made brass for Olin/Winchester in East Alton before and after fighting in WWII.

It's clearly a photoshopped picture. Wadlow was just popped in there and its actually a pretty bad photoshop at that.

A bunch. I do remember seeing the statue of that guy in Alton when I was a kid. It didn't even look possible to a kid.

Andre wasn’t 7’4”, at least by the time that picture was taken.
There’s a somewhat infamous picture of him, Wilt Chamberlain, and Arnold from the filming of Conan The Destroyer and Andre was clearly shorter than Wilt by a few inches.
Andre was a big motherfricker but a combination of his body breaking down by the 80s and wrestling puffery meant he was never that tall, just massive and billed as such.

Wadlow had to use custom folding metal chairs during his time in the WWE because his hands were so big.

Prime Andre was between 7'0 to 7'1.

Not sure how tall Andre was in real life. I decided to resize parts of the photo using 10 pixels per inch using both images assuming the 7' 4" Andre and here is what I get. The resizing is why the ropes are offset. Andre was at about the right pixels, I only had to moderately increase his height a few pixels, I had to shrink Wadlow a good bit
