This German lad discovered Buc-ee's last night, but before that, he was blown away at Jordan-Hare Stadium

He has been to 3 or 4 states so far, including tubing down the Chattahoochee in TN

He was blown away by the drink options at Wendy's and gave Waffle House a 10/10

Just do a quick scroll through his timeline. It's fun to see how they see things we take for granted

There are some funny videos of English school kids try American food for the first time. There was an English dude that also toured Louisiana that was fun also.

CFB fans trying to explain to the English why 100k+ seat stadiums aren’t built smack dab in the middle of villages is pretty fun to watch

Freddy's trip posts on X have been good. He was blown away by his experience in Auburn and Alabama.

For the most part English soccer stadiums aren’t anything special. Older and not much to see. There are nicer ones, but most of them are not impressive.

Friend,

There is an emerging new genre on social media I label European pandering. These visitors effuse with unending praise, implying America superiority to their countries and culture. And certain American audiences, especially those who say they need no validation from outsiders, eat it up.

It as if some Americans actually believe them that American sunsets are somehow superior or that a Waffle House breakfast tastes better than a good English or Scottish breakfast or that a rinky dink SEC stadium in the middle of Auburn is more impressive than the stadiums of Europe.

If you have not spent significant time in Europe I suppose their acting might seem genuine.

Yours,

Even as an LSU fan I think you should have asked “Mother” to review your posts before submitting.

Yes, some Europeans do it to pander. The worst two who pander are those Josh and Jase phonies that Louisiana went wild over. It’s clear they’ve found a formula that works, and they’re exploiting it.

That said, I think these World Cup fans are different. They seem like they’re genuinely just posting their experience rather than trying to manufacture some viral persona.

But the last post I saw said he was driving to try to find a hotel room in Tuskegee or Montgomery. I’m worried for him.

Your facade allllllllmost cracks because you’re angry someone is doing your same shtick but actually has popularity

It’s fascinating to watch

I used to say “wait until they get a dose of our Culcha” but they have caught up by importing the 3rd world to their homes.

Back in the 90's I dated a girl from England, we brought her friend and boyfriend to a Saints game, as we walked into the Dome, they were in awe when they saw what the inside was like, and that was back before all the renovations...

I also brought the boyfriend to Save-A-Center at the time, all he wanted to do was walk around the store and look at the prices, he couldn't believe how cheap everything was.

Didn't realize the state line had been moved 50 miles south.

Seriously though I loved his reaction Helen being a recreated Bavarian village.
