Evidently, I must be at the spot where fighter jets turn around on a dime. Two of them have been doing it the last two days multiple times. Very loud and awesome.
I don’t know anything about military planes, but are these F35s?

Could be 35s or 22s flying out of Tyndall.

Tyndall AFB is in Panama City, FL. It used to be a F-22 base before the hurricane wiped it out. Not sure what they're flying there now, but I think it might be F-35s.

F-22's. They're bases nearby at Tyndall AFB.

baw, you're in the hotbed of multiple fighter bases and near one of their favorite playgrounds, first time there?

The version that can do short take off and vertical landings are freaky cool to watch on youtube.

It’s the Alabama Air National Guard coming to air strike you for what you said about Alabama.

We get them flying over our building on their way from and into Beaufort. Never gets old. C17s all the time, too, but they're kinda boring

If you ever move to Virginia Beach make sure you don’t live in their flight path.

Do they still fly F-15s out of there too? Last time I was down there SE of Tyndall in 2020 they were flying them like crazy.

Not any more. The base was leveled. It's the 35's now. Also going to be bringing in a drone fleet at some point. Base has very heavy construction going on. 22's went to Langley
