I’m on the crew sock bandwagon

I’ve been an ankle socks guy since grade school. I sorta rolled my eyes at the young guys who started bringing crew socks back several years ago. Well I recently only had a pair of long gray dress socks to wear with my sneakers so I went with it. I liked it. A lot. Both the way it felt and looked. I have been converted to the crew.
If you want to give it a try, I recommend dark gray. If you’re hesitant, thinking people are going to be like “WTF dude what’s with your socks!?” don’t worry. I’ve done it several times now and none of my friends or family have said anything. Not even my wife.
If you want to join me but don’t want to spend the time trying to find the ”right” pair, I searched the internet for the best value+style dark gray crew sock option and settled on these.

That's primarily because nobody gives a crap what type of socks another person is wearing with their dress pants.
That being said, you should wear these with your dress pants.

I like the crew socks with cotton gym shorts in the summer time while I’m in the house. Keeps my calves warm, but not like wearing lounging around pants
Which are too hot in the summer. Then if I decide to walk outside I can just take them off and put on some deck shoes.

I guess I've been a crew sock with jeans all along and never knew I wasn't in style.
With dress pants I wear dress socks though.

I saw a recent instagram post interviewing young women about men’s socks.
They all said ankle socks is not a good look.
