If I am driving I always haul the alcohol it is just one less thing to worry about and the price difference is not worth the hassle to me especially if I can't find what I want at the first store and have to go hunting or compromise.

That's what I usually do, but somebody was telling me it was cheaper there. And I'm not sure I believe them,

Obviously it isn't a simple answer, so I'll just buy it and take down like usual, lol

Liquor in Alabama is super expensive. I believe they have a 50% tax on that shite. Not sure what Florida is but might as well buy here and truck it over.

ETA: When I went in July a 12 pack of high noons in Louisiana is like $20 at Sam's club or Total wine, at ABC in OBA it was like $31.

There’s a place called the Carousel on the west side of Panama City with good prices. Much cheaper than ABC here in Alabama.

Alabama has the ABC and more expensive liquor on the Gulf Coast. Buy it before you get here.

We spent the last couple of days in OB. Stopped at the Al's by Walmart. Bottle of tequila I buy in Houston for $42...was $72 here.
