This post reminds me of the India Imports Store in Kenner. Still have my Bruce Lee shoes I got from there.
I think I used to buy beer underage there.

Yeah sure. Tigerdropping servers are maintained by an Indian admin.
His name is Dhillip. If you read the reinstatement post at the top

What’s downvoted about this?
Pay them less so we can make more
I didn't bother to downvote, but IT work is one of the last jobs that pays a living wage that doesn't require 6+ years of college or an apprenticeship. And you get what you pay for anyway. Those dudes don't do jack shite compared to an American.

At Disnay some don't use deodorant. They bathe but use some spice not soap

They were pretty damn well for us.
This is basically the majority of IT departments on Wall Street
They work ridiculous amount of hours too.
Consistently on call and always there

1000000% agree. I was in the terminal train at the Denver airport Sunday night. An airport worker who was Indian stood next to me and I had to move. Reeked would have been more pleasant than what this guy smelled like.
I came up with this joke when I was in Europe on their rail system. "I don't know which countries belong to the EU, but I can tell you which ones belong to the PU"
HA!

Some cultures prefer not to smear aluminum chlorhydrate daily into an area of their bodies guaranteed to facilitate absorption into their bloodstreams.
Antiperspirant doesn't stop body odor. Deodorant does.
I don't use AP and smell great because I bath every day and use deodorant.

Quite simply it is not a part of their culture to bathe regularly.
They still don't have running water in a lot of parts of India, and indoor plumbing has really become widespread in the past 30 years.
There are actual charts that show indoor plumping and the installation of toilets in India up against rates of disease lessening and they are pretty much identical.
They have an overpopulated, polluted country that is not used to plumbing. So bathing regularly just isn't something they know.
This.
Makes me think about how bad everyone smelled throughout history before running water.

My favorite is them acknowledging their filthy stink and taking splash baths in the bathroom sink at work. fricking disgusting.
Our admin had to put up a sign in the bathroom tip toeing around suggesting it’s not appropriate. Soon after she had to put up another sign “Please do not spit in the Men’s Restroom” They are fricking 3rd world animals
And don’t get me started on them heating up their bright orange slop at lunch stinking up the break room. I just go to another floor.
Thank the cheap IT employers and the H1B1 visa
I think you work at my old job.
Also, they had to send a communication out to not stand on the toilet seats.
Apparently an Indian fella was used to shitting in holes, so he stood on the toilet seat to drop a shite into it from long range and the toilet completely shattered.

Because there’s something about the smell of goat that they find appealing.

Of course they do. That's their goal.
Ever had one tell you, "this is the wrong technology I'm using here, we should use something else?"
How about, "this thing is too complex and expensive; we don't need it?" or "this thing you requested will take a month- how about this slightly worse thing I can do in a week?"
Typically, you need an American do make those decisions impartially. I guess you can give him a bunch of Indians to do the work at the very lowest level, but I think that's an impoverished thought process.
Hire an American programmer and you'll increase the average IQ of your organization. It will pay dividends that are real, if difficult to quantify.
I'm actually cleaning up a mess that was made by a CEO working directly with an overseas team right now.
