With elbow/knee pads and a whistle. Everything adult in that video is pathetic loser with no life. OMG, a 12-year old did a wheelie in the street, frick off.

What's the statute of limitations on popping wheelies -- asking for a friend?
Posted on 6/4/26 at 6:06 pm to deeprig9
Entitled kid? Wheelies or not, never touch a child or steal his phone like that. I think if any of us caught grown adults doing that to our child, we'd be in jail right now. Mitch has a very punchable face. Elbow pads AND the Lotus HOA shirt. This guy thinks he's in the wheelie tactical response unit.
BUT..
Looks like ol' Mitch and Ari are in some really deep doo doo.
Ruh Oh.
In early April, 62-year-old Lotus resident Mitchell Schuman confronted a 13-year-old riding an e-bike, threw a water bottle at him, and took the boy’s phone—an encounter that was recorded and went viral. Deputies initially charged him with misdemeanor assault and theft, but after a second review of the video, prosecutors upgraded the case to a felony: robbery by snatching, which carries a potential five-year sentence. A second man involved, Ari Brooks, was also arrested and charged with the same felony plus simple assault for restraining the teen and refusing to return the phone. Both cases remain active, and the men are scheduled to continue fighting the charges in court next month.

From the video, I think the name of the subdivision is "Lotus".
Not a "Seinfeld" fan I presume. Too bad Jerry mugged an old lady and stole her marbled rye.

Where else to do them?

South Florida is so full of Yankee transplants that it’s hard to call them Yankee transplants. It’s more like you’re a Southern transplant if you’re one of the few people in South Florida with a Southern accent.

That's pretty pathetic of you if you think it's okay for a bunch of (alleged) "grown-arse men" ganging up on a 13 year old for acting like a 13 year old. I'm sure they knew where this kid lived; they could have easily gone and spoke with his folks about the incident or reported it to their neighborhood security or the police. What they did, all of them, was WAY out-of-line. I'm glad they were arrested.

Even if the kid was doing something that endangered others, you can’t just go and take his phone. You take a pic of his face and you report it to security. You can’t just hold his property. This isn’t a citizens arrest.
That being said, those charges seem kinda bonkers for what happened. The men involved deserve a punishment for sure, but 5 years in prison? Nah.

The cops charged only the one guy, with a misdemeanor. Then the local news got ahold of the footage, it got a lot of local attention, so the DA elevated the charges and charged a second guy.
The News doing what The News does.
It will be reduced to guilty pleas on misdemeanors and nobody is going to jail.

Live in a fairly restrictive HOA. Mix of retirees and young families. Younger folks view everything as their playground, older folks view everything as theirs to control. A little consideration on both sides goes a long way.

I made it about a minute into the actual footage before I had to turn it off. Stupid fricking liberal Yankee jackoffs.

Those homes in the neighborhood are going for like $600 sq/ft.
Nothing under $1.5mil
As a couple others have said, Yankees.

WTF is wrong with these parents? This generation never grew up playing outside so they think every kid riding a bike is a hooligan. Damn, these parents are the worst! Just let kids be kids!

I have one for yall. In Florida, a homeless dude runs to some guy's house yelling and screaming in pain... One of his nuts were bleeding. His girlfriend, for some reason, thought he was having relations with a nurse practitioner so during intercourse she took a bite out of his ball sack. The police had to go find her to arrest her.
