Certified liar. Didn't he also perjure himself as well?

It seems this judge does not grasp the importance of metadata to authenticate a video.

Every time Brennan opens his mouth I just wanna punch him.. His voice is irritating as hell.

Hank Brennan is a POS that has been paid $230k as a hired gun for this prosecution.
I might also add that the prosecutors office is not conflicted out of this case. They just needed to hire someone from outside of their office instead of one of the 50 lawyers already on the payroll.

I think it's BS you can bring in outside (defense) counsel as the "special prosecutor". That doesn't say much about the DA's office, but I agree 100% - they are hired guns to obtain a favorable outcome.

Man these ARCCA witnesses have been a hot topic.

John was a Boston cop, not a Canton cop and while you could call him an acquaintance, I don’t believe he was “close friends” with the Albert/McCabe/Higgins clique. They were on the phone with him telling him where to park, looking out the window as they were expecting him at 34 Fairview, yet when they called 911 hours later, Jenn says “there is a man passed out in the snow.” They knew damn well who was lying in their front yard.
I listened to Andrea Burkhart who is an attorney but also a boxer. She said the blood pattern on John’s clothing looks exactly like her clothes when she gets bloodied from boxing.
I was shocked at the pictures of 34 Fairview Rd that the prosecution provided in the first trial. Not sure what kind of camera settings used, but the front lawn looked HUGE! If you look at a normal photo, the yard looks really small. With all the commotion of the first responders and Karen screaming on the scene later that morning, and not one person in the house came out to see what was going on! Their German Shepard Chloe was allegedly in the house? When just regular, everyday cars pull up to my house (not even cops & paramedics) my dog goes nuts as most German shepherds would. Allegedly Chloe didn’t make a sound and everyone was asleep with all the chaos going on outside their bedroom window that faces the front yard. They found approximately 3400 text messages on Jenn McCabe’s phone. The ONLY one of those messages that was deleted was the 2:27am Google search “hos long to die in cold.”
I have followed trials since they were first starting to be shown online. I’ve never seen a court case that had so much reasonable doubt. I think that is something the first jury didn’t understand. Their job isn’t to solve the case. They are supposed to find her guilty because all facts of the case prove her guilt or find her innocent because there is reasonable doubt.

Have to hide the corruption. Don't think the media is not on the take up there either.

My thoughts exactly. That's why I can't see a jury unanimously convicting her of this crime.....ever.

Absolutely agree. The Commonwealth knows it, they are just trying to finance bankrupt Karen, they have always been pissed that she didn’t plea in the begins that’s why they upped the charges. Funny, they said from the beginning that she hit him, but there never was a DUI charge or an accident form filled out!

I don't understand trying again. Why not just say, "Well, we tried and we didn't get a conviction. We are moving on."?

I guess that's at the discretion of the DA's office but they'll keep trying this one as long as they can. Too much egg on their faces from the first trial. But I agree, why get your arse whipped again?

Norfolk County is one of the most corrupt judicial sectors in the nation. DA Morrissey has run unopposed in an insane number of elections. Also, They were pissed off when they first charged her that she didn’t take their plea offer. It’s not that they think they can get a conviction, they know damn well they can’t get a 12-0 guilty verdict. The 2nd trial is 100% about them bleeding her dry financially.
Two aspects of Cannone’s courtroom that pisses me off is the fact that when you object, she doesn’t allow you to state why you are objecting. The other is that she has got to hold the record for number of sidebars, and what is said at sidebar is not heard by the jury. Everything is so secretive.

Opening statements today. Just my personal recommendation for people who want to follow along:
- To watch the trial live without commentary: WBZ YouTube
- To watch the trial live with commentary: Emily D Baker YouTube
- To watch daily recaps with commentary: Lawyer You Know YouTube
You can find other streams of people that are much more biased, on both sides. I like to listen to people with as little bias as possible and will help explain what each side is trying to do as well as provide their input, rather than try to convince me join their side.
