I remember where I was when that happened.
A insurance company had given Christa a $1m life insurance policy.

I’m sure they knew they were falling but I hope it was quick enough to have them disoriented.

Isn't that Waylon Jennings playing bass in the background?

Yep.

He was supposed to be on the plane. Gave his seat to JP Richardson because Richardson was sick and the bus wasn't heated.

Yep especially Lennon, JFK, MLK, and Candy. No way would they believe they could have possibly died another way.

As I get older it’s insane Elvis died at only 42

Forest Gump would’ve been just a little bit better had Forest walked in on Elvis doing a gator tail then tries to clean up real quick.

I wish I could go back in time and kidnap Amy Winehouse and through some miracle make her get better. Isn’t that goofy? I’m not sure why her death saddened me so much. There was something under all that self destructiveness that was undeniable to me.

Of all the people to go back and save you choose...Amy Winehouse?

Point taken but I'm a music guy. I mean, I'm obviously more concerned when a non-frickup dies, but there was just something about her fragility that moved me before her death. Same with my Cranberries girl, Delores O'Riordan. I have a soft spot for terribly flawed female vocalists.

Apparently, John Candy was 6'2". Google says he was 325 when he died. To be that big a 6'2", I think he had to be well north of 350.
