His party appears to have taken place in a public park, with the Baton Rouge native's music on full blast. A large table displaying cupcakes and other treats with the rapper's face on them takes center stage. The man even went the extra mile, recruiting a cardboard cutout of NBA YoungBoy to join him at the event.

The article did not mention the treasure hunt. We also had a treasure hunt that my wife took a long time to set up. So it wasn't just cupcakes in the park. Thank you

It doesn't sound like he bothered anyone other than the self appointed people who want to decide what is appropriate for others. I hope he enjoyed his birthday.

Why would this bother people?

doesnt bother me, but i still think anyone, especially a dude, who celebrates their birthday in any year beyond years that end in "teen" or "enty-one" is kinda silly and deserves some ridicule.

You don't sound like the kind of person who would be fun at a party anyway.

Themed parties after your 20s is extremely cheesy and cringey.

Much less a grown arse man having a early 20s rapper themed party

probably not a themed birthday party for a dude turning

*checks notes*

thirty-eight.

Look if your wife throws you a 40th or 50th birthday party with a bunch of your friends over at your house or something, great, have a ball. but the sheer narcissism required to thrown your OWN birthday party, let alone a childlike THEMED party, is ridiculous.

Probably because:

music on full blast

Anyone playing music on "full blast" in public setting is a shithead.
