Democrats don’t have the most basic understanding of how an economy works.

I wouldn’t have to work three jobs if I made $50 an hour.

If they did, they wouldn’t be Democrats.

Having lived in the Bay Area, she is closer to right than wrong with respect to a living wage. Upper class mix, expensive state (taxes, cogs) and allure of Bay Area drives cost of living to the roof.

Clay Davis is in the new Netflix show The Residence. He is phenomenal in that as well.

And the Oakland mayor is retarded. Sounds like something Latoya would say.

In the same breath she advocates for a $50/hr minimum wage she also decries an affordability crisis where $127,000 is barely enough to get by on in Oakland.

I love the cognitive dissonance that nothing changes if you're paying a McDonalds worker $400 for an 8 hour shift. They apparently think that the scale isn't just going to keep shifting to make minimum wage a minimum wage and advanced skilled workers demand more money, costs adjust accordingly and you're in the same spot. $50 an hour isn't enough! 300,000 a year barely gets by in Oakland!!
