It was on Florida Blvd going towards Airline Hwy.

Played there lots of times as a kid.

What a silly sport, lol. I wonder if any still exist.

There was a bowling alley at Florida and Airline.

Also fun fair park there.

Celebration station at airline and I-12 had putt putt.

Yep. I remember the green carpet “fairways” and the orange framing around everything. I think they had a light with all of the different colors of the balls and if it lit up as your color you got something.

During Putt-Putt's heyday, there was actually a weekly television show featuring "touring pros" playing matches all over. I think it was primarily based in the South.

I thin Don Carters still has one but it's been years since I've gone there.

I miss going camping with the family when I was a kid. I spent so much time at the Yogi Bear pool/arcade/putt putt

Celebration Station?

Putt Putt pre-dates Celebration Station by 20 years. It was on Florida by Fun Fair Park.

It was right here.
From 1980.

Good times there as a kid. Went there quite a bit. Great memories. Thank you for the flashback.

It was next to Fun Fair Park on Florida. I loved going to both, as a kid.

I doubt anyone remembers this, but for a hot second, when you turned on to the access road that Fun Fair Park was on, across from the hobby shop, there was a place that had different sized basketball hoops. It was like putt-putt, but with basketballs. I was young, but I vaguely remember the point was to stand at various spots at each hoop and see if you could make the shot.

Spent many afternoons or Saturday mornings there as a kid. It was a sad day when they cut down all the large trees that graced the property where Putt Putt was located to build a crappy used car lot.

Was a go to date spot for me. Sorority chicks loved it. GDI’s even more so. Reminded them of the one in Gulf Shores that had the purple dinosaur out front, I guess.
