I remember her saying this back in the day. I bet you can find interviews decades old saying the same thing...it certainly didn’t hurt her career, but this was an issue for her for a while to be fair.

She was a a nobody before that scene and that movie. Basically a D-list whore. That movie and that scene put her on the map. She wasn't conned into doing it. She did it because she would have sold her soul and her beaver to become an A-list actress and she knew that scene could help her be the attention whore she was born to be.
