Damn, Gulf Shores has had one murder since 2015. It is obviously a small town of 15K, but when you consider the 8 million visitors annually, that's pretty damn impressive.

Video of shooting

Just senseless. Probably fighting over something completely stupid and not worth fighting about, let alone shooting someone over.

Gulf Shores PD and city government don’t play around. It’s a very safe place. As from the video, you can see the hood rats came out to play. GSPD will be on top of that crap so fast and hard now.

Actually I heard it was a beef between the four that live in Montana and the 3, well now 2, that reside in Vermont.

Ehhh, at least its mostly underground, and its nothing like it was in the '80's. That area was an out of control unregulated party mecca at the time, especially when you throw in the locals only back bar scene of Orange Beach. The Flora-Bama was actually a sketchy as frick package liquor/dive bar with real life actual bikers and parking lot knife fights and not Disney World for drunken white bachelorettes.

Does the Hangout change to something more like a club scene or something at night?
Based on my daytime visits while there for beach volleyball tournaments, I wouldn't think this place would be a good fit for these numbnuts. It sure isn't cheap either.

Yeah.....that isnt correct. Foley kids are law abiding. They are respectful to adults, well mannered and educated. Wholesome good youth.....well at least the ones not wearing hoodies are.

A good buddy of mine sat on a Grand Jury in Alabama last year. Saw 500+ cases in which he and the rest of the jury would decide whether individuals would be arrested and charged. He said half of those 500 had shockingly similar fact patterns

1. 16 to 30 year olds
2. Riding or walking around with guns and nothing better to do
3. Encountered another group doing the same thing
4. Disrespek
5. Someone gets shot

Our small cities upward are churning out aspiring gang-bangers with remarkable efficiency. All of them fully equipped to continue the vicious cycle that starts with deadbeat and often incarcerated fathers.
