Specifically with another man's name on your back? Where do you draw the line? If they're old or dead, it's probably ok? Asking for a friend.

Let meatheads dress how they want.

It is mostly southern guys who have issues with jerseys. They are very commonplace up north.

How many times has this been asked on this board?

Acceptable if it's a childhood hero player. For example as a Spurs fan, I'd wear a Tim Duncan or Ginobili jersey. I wouldn't wear a Wemby jersey.
In college football, jerseys seem like a Big 10 thing but not in the SEC

Grown men shouldn't care if other grown men wear jerseys.
Ive never worn a jersey but a guy I watch a ton of games with does have a good jersey collection
The girl I watched saints game with yesterday has 5 saints jerseys and every time we lose she swaps

Personally, don't care if someone does or doesn't, but preference is:
Football - Jersey just don't feel comfortable or look great honestly.
Baseball - Can be worn loosely, unbuttoned with a T underneath. Look great on women too.
Soccer - Best one IMO. Basically just a tshirt
Hockey - Close second. IDK why, but I like a hockey jersey/sweater even though I have never been to a pro hockey game, or even watched one for that matter.

Should grown men start message board threads about what shirts other men are wearing? Asking for this weirdo on the OT.

I have one jersey in my closet that I have worn once and it is a throwback Dale Murphy Braves jersey.
All the other jerseys I own are signed and in frames in my office or man cave.
It doesnt seem to be a big deal with southern college fans. I have noticed after traveling to bowl games against Ohio State, Wisconsin, Penn State, etc., that those types of places have fans that wear a lot of player jerseys. The most being Ohio State at the Sugar Bowl in 2011. Never seen a fanbase wear jerseys like they did.

I have never understood this line of attack about jerseys. Do you really think an adult with a jersey truly desires to be the player or let the player frick their wife.
Secondly who gives a shite.

Since when are grown men concerned about what other men are wearing to sporting eents?

I do at the LSU games cause my son wants me to.
He wears certain players and then wants me to wear certain players
So I’m good with it
