Anyone here have a CPAP machine, and if so, what brand is it? I was diagnosed and prescribed one today. What brands are the better ones and which should I avoid.

By the way, I am 6'3" 225. Not overweight

ETA:Not obese...There are yall happy?

1 pillow only, thin, or no pillow. Sleep on sides. If you have daily indigestion, take doc over the counter meds(prozac-like) and probiotic.

Dble pillows and sleeping on your back, guaranteed snoring issues/sleep apnea issues.

actually yea it is

but you left out the part about PM being a fricking pro athlete.

Bet OP has really strength trained(notice i didnt say workout) consistenly and progressively for 3 monthes straight in 20+ years.

Stop trying to compare yourself musclular wise to pro athletes!!! you dont look nor do you lift or diet like them!!

According to the BMI thread, you're overweight. I think the cutoff between "normal" and "overweight" is like 209 or 211 lbs, and I'm 6'-5". It used to crack me up when I was 19 or 20, because I thought I was pretty fit at 215 or 220.

Now, 40 years later, I'm still 6'-5", but more like 290. I'm definitely a fat bastard, even after losing 50 lbs on the cancer diet!

And you are very wrong on your clear opinion.

I never had sleep apnea or snoring/breathing issues sleeping, but my ex did and while clearly in shape she had to have two pillows and sleep on her back. I constantly had to move her/take pillow away/push her to her side....amazing how her breathing was normal....eventually a doc told her the same thing about choking herself with two pillows and sleeping on back, choking her airway.

Yes. ResMed AirSense 11. I’m 6’1” and 190 lbs. I had to have one because genetically my throat is more narrow than normal so it closes at night. It’s made a huge difference in how I feel. Just got to quit pulling it off when I’m half asleep at 2 am.

Luna G3 is what I have.

I’m also 6’3” about 208. I have a belly. I guess everyone is different. Haven’t worked out in 10 years.
