So, does consuming food products with “bio engineered” ingredients cause you any concern?

When purchasing products at the grocery store where it says that this product contains some “bio engineered” ingredients, does that concern you, or do you just not worry about it and consume as usual?
Just curious I suppose if DNA altered ingredients should cause one to have any pause for concern or not considering many countries have banned it being sold in their countries, as well as the overall weight issues many to most of our citizens seem to have, and if there might be a correlation between that and our weight. I mean, I certainly don’t see sprouting another limb out of my forehead anytime soon because I ate some, but curious if you think it’s safe to consume or not long term. The FDA says it is, but then again, they are the FDA, and so there’s that.

Yeah I’m not eating that crap. I eat real food. Don’t need bio engineered fat people mayonnaise

I try to avoid it if possible, along with HFCS and the other bad stuff the FDA says is ok.

I’m more concerned with Jose’ rubbing his sweaty taint across my burritos at Taco Bell

I only eat animals that I personally harvest from the side of the road.

I've been going to the local farmer's market. None of that Frankenfood being sold there.

The most important foods have almost all been genetically modified or bio engineered.
If it wasn’t for bio engineered wheat by Norman Borlaug the world would have about a billion less people. Not to mention corn and many other modern fruits and vegetables were very small until they were modified.

Pretty sure humans have been “bioengineering “ foods for thousands of years. Additionally, I would assume it would be denatured in your stomach like every other food.

I’ve spoken with a salesman that sells those artificial creamers and he told me he wouldn’t dare put them in his coffee. He said they’re one step below drinking plastic.

My dad has taught me many things, how to process my own meat is probably number 1. Granted we have a walk in cooler and all the equipment at our shop.

Shouldn’t be putting anything in your coffee.

IMHO that shite is one of the biggest problems with the country/world. Fixing absent dads and getting rid of fake cheap shite food could do us wonders.

Damn near everything is bioengineered

It's probably already used in our chicken, pork, and beef. The govt just won't tell us.

Genetically modified or bioengineered is not the same thing as food with chemical additives or ingredients. I have no qualms about eating the former but avoid the latter.

"Bio engineered" is a very broad term.
