I saved a video the other day that shows an easy way to tie a tie now I have to remember where I saved it.

I could tie a necktie when I was seven years old. Watched my Dad tie one every morning. I wanted to learn.

It doesn’t suprise me that some men never learn. The majority of men can’t even tie up a boat properly.

I learned from YouTube back when I had to wear them often. I just hang them up tied and haven't had to tie one in 10 years. Probably wore a suit 5 times since then.

I discovered masturbation at roughly the same age and I've got to say that tying a tie fell a little short.

Hopefully it’s a full Windsor. It pisses me off that I see so many ties in asymmetrical knots. What is wrong with those heathens?

Want to experience something really weird? Instead of tying it in front of a mirror,

People use a mirror to tie a tie? I have always just glanced down. I use a mirror to finish/line it up and tighten it, but never to put the knot in.

If I’m going to end up in front of a mirror anyway, why would I want to deal with the minor aggravation of looking straight down instead of looking ahead into the mirror?

I bet your knot looks like shite. Post a picture of the knot if you're so proud of it. I also want to see if the tip of the tie stops at the belt.

I've worn a tie maybe 3 times in the last 10 years, all at funerals.

I haven't tied a tie in at least 12 years. Can't say that I could tie one on my own right now without watching something

Like, a basic four in hand/schoolboy knot? It’s objectively easier than tying your shoes Now tying a fricking bow tie, on the other hand… I have to look it up again every time I put on a tux…

It’s funny you say this because a bow tie is the exact same knot as your shoes….

Which knot?

There are a few different kinds people use these days I think.
