I have always hated Hulk Hogan. I still do and I think he sucks.

My favorite wrestlers are:

Macho Man
Ric Flair
Stone Cold
Sting
The Rock
John Cena
Mick Foley

HH can suck a dick.

I’ve been a pro wrestling historian since 1989. I’ve worked in the business in various capacities and still work as a moderator on multiple sites. Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair are definitely in the discussion for GOAT. However, I’d rate Lou Thesz and Jim Londos over them.

Lou Thesz
Jim Londos
Hulk Hogan
Ric Flair
Strangler Lewis
Frank Gotch
Bruno Sammartino
Andre the Giant
Rikidozan
El Santo
Buddy Rogers

What’s fake about it? The planned script of the matches? Wrestling fans already know it’s scripted. You have a better shot at being an NFL starting QB than one of the top wrestlers in the business.

I used to watch it in the 80s and 90s. My favorite wrestlers were.

Hogan
UWarrior
Jake the snake
Scott Hall/Razor Ramon (hey yo)
Macho man
Diamond Dallas
Sting
Goldberg

Since it’t an entertainment show I’d say yes.

Him turning heel got the ratings.

Obviously to wrestling fans they will all have a favorite wrestler. But to the wider world Hogan is the most famous character.

The Nature Boy Ric Flair was 10 times the wrestler Hogan ever was.

Wooooo!

100%. Hogan was great for the mic and the show, but Flair could carry even the worst opponent enough to make the match worthwhile.

The Hulkster is pushing 72 years young and still looks like one of the last guys you'd want to pick a fight with.
