Stated by pastor at church this am.

Powerful and relevant quote in the world/country we live in today.

Thought I’d share.

It takes an incredibly strong person to act in that manner without the support, or at least the feeling of it, against perceived evil.

There are a lot of things I'd happily crusade for and speak about if there was at least a semblance of solidarity. Isolation is a bitch.

It was said by a Dim, so we should do the opposite. Did I poli-lite correctly?

Don’t know if JFK quoted it but I’m pretty sure Sir Edmund Burke said it first.

That's not a JFK quote though

Not Burke either though often falsely attributed to him

People take a stand and not let everything get forced on us. People took a stand against bud light. They should do it against every company that does woke stuff. Pretty soon they'll get the point and stop pushing an agenda

We are much more isolated as a society today, generally speaking.

Biggie said it better.

"When the good do nada, evil takes over tha spot,
Success with ease, ain't no need for a plot.
Hustle and grind, a left then a right,
Evil goin down with a bit of a fight."

JFK attributed that quote to 18th century Anglo-Irish statesman Edmund Burke, although there's no evidence in any of his writings or speeches that he ever did. John Stuart Mill made a similar statement in 1867, but whether he came up with it or got it from someone else is unknown.

The thing about motivational quotes is that everyone who reads it feels good and enlightened for 5 minutes and then all is forgotten. No one ever praises discipline.

Yeah:

“When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fall, one by one, an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle.” - Edmund Burke in 1770

“Bad men need nothing more to compass their ends, than that good men should look on and do nothing.” - John Stuart Mill in 1867.
