Exits 16, 20, and 24 will all be closed
LINK
If you're trying to get to Diamondhead or Delisle/Pass Christian north of the interstate, take exit 13 (43/603) north. Turn right at Ward's (Kiln-DeLisle Road). To get to Diamondhead turn right at Neco's XP (Kapalama). To get to Menge turn left at Most Holy Trinity (Dubuisson).
If you're trying to get to the Pass south of the interstate, take exit 13 south and turn left on Highway 90.
If you're trying to get from those places to County Farm Road (exit 28) north of the interstate or points east, you're screwed. You have to go WAY north to get across the Wolf River or go to 90 and come back up.

Who had the bright idea to start these projects at this time of year?

I guess it makes more sense than next weekend, but still...

No matter when they did this, people would biatch. School is out. It's not football season. Why not? So left-lane hogs from Texas won't complain?
Are these emergency repairs?

It might have been smart to not do three consecutive exits at the same time.....

Menge Ave Exit widening
Diamondhead Exit widening
I-10 widening (Exit 16 - Exit 28)
All three each are longer than one year in duration.

This one is a colossal waste of time.
That exit is just fine as it is. The traffic volume is reasonable even during rush hour.
Menge is because of Buccee's. Hopefully we're not letting the corporation keep all of the sales taxes.

It doesn’t affect anyone not trying to exit. Why avoid I10?

No worries…..I’ll just take Hwy 90 around it

Yes it does, they have one lane closed on I-10 before the Menge exit
