Four "trail riders" rode their horses through the Baker Walmart.

The trail riders I know lament all the time about the "bad rep" that trail riders have. Like the slab car drivers in Houston, too many have lost all respect for other people's property. The old time trail riders respected property. The new ones don't. When they have a gathering, they often park on other people's property or the public right of way. They litter. They block roads.

The slab car drivers in Houston have everyone pissed off because of antics like driving in a circle in an intersection to block it - and to film that on FB.

The good news is that they should be easy to catch since I assume blue shirt on the right either will or already has posted the video he's taking on social media.

I knew what they’d would look like and that they’d be on Tennessee walkers as soon as I read the title.

Slab car drivers drive cars with these extended hubcaps. "Slab" culture originated in Houston. The slab drivers love to get in groups and block public roads. They are now getting rousted fairly frequently.

It's a Baker Wal-Mart.

How is this even newsworthy?

Trail riding means a completely different thing back home. When I moved here I was very confused.

The trail rides used to be more traditional. A club would get together, cook some food, and go on a trail ride. Now, promoters use the trail rides to make money, generally giving everyone who pays a ticket with no regard for event capacity. So, they have a lot of shootings (10 in our parish over the last few years). The real cowboys who used to trail ride generally don't go any more.

Normally, the horsehair in Walmart is all the extensions on the customers and employees.

Should be illegal to drive a car on public roads with that shite sticking out from the tires that far.

Pull them over and impound the car.

A slab is a car with candy paint, a big sound system, neon lights in the trunk, a bunch of TV screens, with four fours, wrapped in four Vogues.

It's called a slab because it's "ice cold" but it can also be an acronym for Slow Loud And Bangin'.

This is a whole culture in H-Tine.

Seems like these trail ride things are in the news every six months up here because a bunch of people got shot at one.

those aren't Tennessee Walkers. Thats just some wormy, malnourished ghetto ponies likely from one of those tragic boarding stables in the area.

Reminds me of The Last Boy Scout.

“Didn’t know you guys knew how to ride horses.”

“Yeah, cars are getting too hard to steal.”
