Olsen attended Utah State University, graduated summa cum laude and Sigma Chi with a degree in finance in 1962. He later went on to earn his Master’s in economics.

Merlin Olsen listed at 6’5”/300lbs and played defensive line in the NFL for 15 seasons. He played in 14 pro bowls.

Over the 15 year NFL career he had playing defensive line, Merlin Olsen missed zero games.

Merlin played a Greek dad named Alex Karras in that show with the cute little black kid from diffrent strokes. Fuzzy memories by Jack Handy.

That was a question for extra credit on a history test. Teacher was a big fan.

I knew the answer.

In retrospect he wasn't such a great announcer. He never predicted plays before they happened.
