You want your kid to have Alzheimer's at 40? Steer him toward swimming or soccer.

Yeah.. I piss myself and forget where I am these days.
He has no interest in soccer and I'm not going to steer him into anything he doesn't want to do..

It needs to be said. A child's future is at stake.

The X1 is crap. I don't know a single kid that likes the way it feels. Schutt makes a great helmet.

Virginia Tech does helmet studies. Look for that exact helmet when buying. I had to order online because I couldnt find one locally.

Leather. No face mask. Won't learn to use their head as weapon.
I am actually partly serious. I think the modern helmet contributes to the problem of head injuries.

Since we're talking youth football (6-11 year olds) I think you will be fine with any of those brands. Just have it properly fitted. If you live in the GNO area there's a place called Grundmann's Athletics near the Galleria who are very good at outfitting kids with the appropriate equipment.

Revolution that fits, best chin strap, an hours of teaching your child how not to use your head. Fathers spend hours throwing bp and ground balls. Yet 30 mins on how to tackle. Don't make sense.

Quality mouth guard that is fitted is what you need to worry about. I recommend ShockDoctor. Or get your dentist to do it.

Comes on message board primarily about football.
Argues against children playing football.
Ladies and gentleman, I give you the downfall of America..
