There were a bunch of them around the Louisiana - Arkansas border. I think they all hit my windshield because I went through there quite a lot.

We had a thread about this week or so ago. IIRC the love bugs have not recovered from the hot drought conditions we had last summer. Apparently love bugs need nice moist soil to hatch their larvae and thrive. Last summer they were devastated by the hot and dry conditions and their numbers remain low because of it.

I thought they were only in Florida.


Those are good fricking things would be mating and flying into everything wildly. And they loved them some engine heat

all those love bugs transformed into stink bugs (the orange and black ones).

these suckers are everywhere this year.
