At first I agreed with Coati or Ring-tailed Cat. But neither is supposed to be in Florida. The face looks perfect for this Fox Squirrel which was photographed in Big Cypress, Florida.

That's a rare nauga. They are almost extinct because we've made so much nauga-hide from them.

That animal is much bigger than a fox squirrel and that tail is much longer than any fox squirrels tail.

In Florida it's probably someone's pet lemur that escaped or cut loose. Florida is famous for exotics going missing and then turning up in peoples yards.

That's my thinking I have never seen one of those out here before.

I am thinking it is something in the mink family. Might need to move this to the outdoor board

Idk how to tell you, but you are flat out wrong. They are all over our property I see them every day. This is a Fox Squirrel in Florida.

If it is a tree rat, that sucker has the longest tail for one. I really don't know. Looking at the arse end, those are some big hine quarters.

If that's a squirrel, it's as big as a full grown cat!!!

Can't be, tail is too long!
... It is a fox squirrel

... It is a fox squirrel
