Currently have four separate packages being shipped all for different parts of the country. Three of the four say they delivery has been delayed (one over 12 days) due to severe weather. The other package is in a facility in IL and tracking hasn’t been updated since Feb 17.

I have never experienced this kind of issue with UPS in the past. What’s the deal???

I would contact UPS, this sounds like a lost package.

You mean they're hiring more white guys now? When I worked there, I was the only white guy on the sorting floor.

I have a couple of packages delayed at the IL facility as well.

People have been complaining about the severe weather delays for almost a month now.

UPS has been a disaster for a decade now. I do not use them unless I have to. They have cost me a lot of money in completely F'ed up overnight shipments that didn't manage to make it in a week. Nobody knows where it is or why it didn't arrive, and nobody is willing to take responsibility.

I do not do business with UPS. They long ago exhausted any goodwill they had with me.

UPS makes up reasons to delay shipment and there are days they simply don't count as being in the shipping pipeline. They are the worst in the business. I stopped using them long ago. Even USPS is better for packages.

UPS was supposed to pick up a return from my house. There was a 14 hour window where they would pick it up. I stayed home the entire day and it was never picked up. Now I need to reschedule a pickup. I'm just going to bring it to the UPS store.

The problem with all of these shipping companies is there are no repercussions if a package doesn’t arrive on time. You pay your money in good faith with the promise that it will arrive in two days and if it arrives in ten days nothing happens.

UPS just sent my package back to shipper because of "damage".

UPS and FedEx are the two worst delivery companies.

USPS is great in midcity Baton Rouge. Never had an issue with them.

FedEx has been the better option out of all shipping services for like the past 6 months

USPS is a mess
UPS raised rates but shutdown local offices
FedEx is cheaper and getting deliveries made faster

They've been unionized for longer than that, which is why I started avoiding them at all costs in the early 2ks. Unless you're shipping a response to proposal to UPS HQ, at least.

Same here. I am waiting for a package that was mailed out (USPS) on Feb. 8 and tracking # says it is delayed due to "weather".

Who the hell do you use then? FedEx and the USPS are on an entirely different level of incompetence. Hell, in alabama, a FedEx driver was just throwing shite off a ravine instead of delivering it.

I have a package delayed also and it is due to the heavy snow and sub-zero temperatures this area has had the past week. The temperature finally gets up to freezing today. The day the snow hit the truck got close, but had to turn around and go back to the warehouse. He could not get up the hills in my area of NW Arkansas.

FedEx is the problem for me. I had a package that hadn’t moved since 12/05, stuck in Texas. It was part of a set, and I’d received the others. Since I didn’t have all of the pieces, I returned it. Last week—2.5 months later—the missing package was delivered to my house. Kudos for not giving up, I guess, but wtf.
