What's the end goal from the constant Duct Cleaning or Car Detailing scams on FB?

If you're ever on a Facebook group, you've likely seen a post that starts out like
" my family has fallen on hard times. Me and my wife's business is failing and we are looking for community support. I Detail cars/clean air ducts, please pm me for a quote"
If you moderate a FB group you see these posts a dozen times a day. Same script.
The people often are in Pakistan or Bangladesh.
It's a scam but what's the goal? What do you get out of someone sending you a message for service?
Air duct cleaning was the big one now it's car detailing. I get is phishing but what will they get?

Don’t know, but they are getting nothing but my address until the work is done and they aren’t getting that from me cause.I got a guy for that

They get your address and look at you vehicle/house on Google street view. They call you and set up the day they are coming out. Then the call you and say their guy went to your house but nobody answered. They describe your house-red brick, house numbers on left of garage, two trees in front yard, etc. Then they tell you that he will send his guy back but you have to pay a deposit since you wasted his guys time.
They hope that because they described your house that you believe they actually came by.

I’ve signed up online to have my car’s air ducts regularly cleaned and serviced.

Holy cow I saw both the air duct and detailing posts on one of the tangi pages today.

I just signed up with a guy to have my truck’s cabin air replaced with Nitrogen.

I see white guys doing this too fwiw
50 years ago guys like this could’ve gotten a job in their towns factory or mill and worked their whole career and retired with a pension and support a family without the wife working
Instead we decided to send all of our production to China and let them make things with child slave labor
The things China can’t make for Americans, like houses, have been mostly been given to transient illegals rather than letting a guy work his way up a crew to become a master carpenter and whatnot
I’m sure a lot of people don’t want to pay 100 dollars more for a washing machine that lasts 50 years or have a house that will last forever but the downstream effects on society of cheapening everything are probably more expensive over the long run
ETA: not everyone is cut out for a fake job like selling insurance or sending emails but those are the only jobs you can earn a living left in America outside of a few areas involved in petrochemical, mining, or agriculture

If you’re an adult man on Facebook
You cease to be an adult man.

People don’t want to admit that we’ve become a third world country but we’ve become a third world country
In third world countries the main industries are extraction based, pulling things out of the ground to be sold to other countries to become finished goods. That employs a good chunk of the citizenry. The rest of the people get by selling goods and services to each other. And then you have the permanent underclass. Does that sound familiar?
Don’t try to say “but we have tech!” So does Pakistan

Also lookout for fake locksmiths. When someone needs a locksmith they are usually in a pinch and a lot of scammers setup fake lockpick services websites. For some reason this scam is popular with Israelis. Take a little bit of extra time and ensure you are contacting a reputable service.

Probably to take over the world, if I’d have to guess…

Bots. I don’t think it’s actual people posting those scams.
