Who are best physicians in Baton Rouge for men and name some good cardiologist please

I am looking for a new general practitioner or physician in the area and cardiologist would appreciate anyones recommendation…thanks

Never ask for the best doctor. Whichever doctor someone uses, that's always "the best".

My grandmother used him and she and my aunts liked him a lot. I use Dr. Helmke across the street at Louisiana Cardiology. I tried getting a second opinion from Dr. Cefalu at BR Cardiology and did not like him at all. He rushed through things and didn't really take the time to listen to my concerns. Helmke rushes BUT if you tell him you have some questions, he will stop what he's doing and make you feel like you're his only patient. Problem with that is it can take some time to wait for him to get to you because he's doing it with others as well. His nurses, however, are a completely different story. The staff working beneath him is absolutely horrendous. I stay with him because I like him, though.
