Wife got caught talking behind boss's back- has been blacklisted from that industry

Basically had a unicorn job in a very specific industry where everyone knows everyone.
Got a new boss back in early 2023. Was constantly talking shite behind his back. Boss found out about it and said c ya later.
Now she can't find a job in that industry because everyone knows him and asks her former boss why she "left"
Why can't women just keep their mouths shut? Always talking shite for no reason.
