While none of us really know what they have planned for the rest of the story I am curious if Cena drops the title at Summerslam.
Cody will end up beating him to get the title back and Cena will turn face to end his career. Just so many better ways to make all of that happen than what we got last night. I do think Cena needed to win, but not like that.

I read an interesting rumor this may be a way to retire a title with linage to Vince. Cena does actually retire with it and they create some new TKO title or something of the sorts, rumble winner and EC winner battle for it at mania next year and a new champion is crowned
Not saying I see them doing this but I think it’s within the realm of possibilities at this point
Looking a year out I don’t see how rock isn’t involved in the 42 main event but obviously we can’t predict his involvement

I will never underestimate Rock's ability to insert himself into a storyline to feed his ego and completely frick it up again.

I like this idea actually.

Well I know Cody is the one likely to beat Cena for the title my question is more so when does he lose it. Do they try and keep the title on him to the of his run or do they have him drop it at the next PP.....eeerrrr PLE....

Think he drops it at Summerslam, but who knows. I'm guessing he defends against Orton next.

I think he does it in December just as cena threatening to really leave with it. In MSG at a SNME.

Apter with the Chyna question. HHH says eventually. What in the French fried tittyfrick makes sense about Taker's wife in there...alone...before Chyna? He has taken way too many hits to the head.
If you want her induction to be the main focus/standout why would you do it at the same Mania as HHH?

I feel like Cody/Cena was objectively decent but just not good enough obviously.
Seemed to me like the psychology was Super Cena (he's just so strong.)
Anyone else end a Mania match with just a belt shot?

Hendry’s fricking amazing. The only thing more I could’ve wanted last night from that spot was having him cut a quick promo before jumping in the ring. He’s amazing on the mic.

Cena’s performance fell far short of his previous standards. His in-ring abilities are diminished, and his execution of key moments lacked the conviction and impact he was once known for. The heel persona felt overly rehearsed and failed to generate the desired audience response.
The decision to center the main event around Cena raises questions about the creative direction. The match did not deliver the anticipated intensity, suggesting potential missteps in planning or execution. I am curious about whether external factors—such as a possible dispute or a change in plans involving The Rock—may have influenced the outcome. It’s conceivable that Cena preferred to maintain the spotlight solely on himself.

I think Cody winning there would add to him finishing his story.....still....

Just finished night 2. What a bunch of garbage. That was possibly the worst main event in WM history. The IC title match was the only thing decent on the show. The corporate logos and advertising everywhere was just over the top. Why did TNA send their top guy out to get beat like that in a quick, nothing match? Just a bad show all around. I'm convinced more and more that today's WWE fans are not wrestling fans.

The women's triple threat match put in a damn good show too. Don't shite on them. Hell, they should have main evented apparently because it was much better than watching Cena.

I saw a replay part of the match and noticed a malfunction.

I think Orton should have lost. Hendry is likely WWE bound and Orton could eat a loss. The loss could have even been a way to set up Orton questioning if he still has it.

The problem was Orton winning, it was how he won and that this isn't going to lead to anything. You could have had Rusev out there to destroy him and set up a feud between them. You could have had Aldis come out and lose but turn that into a story where Aldis keeps trying to screw Randy. What we got was a glorified squash match that only hurt TNA.

I don't think it needed to though. This was probably going to end the program with KO. This was just filler because he was hurt. I'm thinking Randy-Cena is next.
