Bailey's only had todd beat in the chicken dept. Everything else at bailey's was trash.
Bailey’s texas toast was pretty dang good. At least what I remember.

The power of deflation in those chicken strips, lol

It was just a piece of bread.
They were clutch though. More than once we gave them $10 and they would just fill 2 bags full of chicken and fries.

I'll gladly overpay for Canes and Chick Fila knowing that a meth fueled slobbering midwit isn't prepping my food like the vast majority of other fast food, and at least it is always fresh.

Zaxby's is better
Zaxby’s has much more variety on their menu. Which is something. But on a chicken finger comparison it appears the only seasoning Zaxby’s uses is salt…and tons of it!

I won’t knock Cane’s because Todd and his investment partners have done incredibly well. Do other places such as Foosackly’s serve better fried tenders? Yes. Was Bailey’s significantly better? You betcha. But Cane’s does three things and they do them very well. Customer service, closed on big holidays, and there product is usually very fresh. But neither of them have done or could do what Todd has done. And Zaxby’s is not even in the same hemisphere as Cane’s.
Agree with you whole heartedly they Cane’s blows Xaxbys out of the water. But, at least in the Mobile and Eastern shore area, Foosacklys beats Cane’s in the size, taste, quality and value of their tenders and ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE.
The five piece “box” with fries, toast, Cole slaw and sauce is $7.59 plus tax, and you can get a regular sweet tea/coke for $1.79. More often than not, you actually get six tenders in it.
And most important of all, the chicken is bigger, with better flavor and better breading.

I had whataburger and a double burger, fries, and drink was over $14 after tax.
A double double meal at In and Out in Los Angeles where min wage is $20 is still under $10.

Big Mac meal at McDonalds is about that price. I'd much rather have Cane's.

The bigger the menu, the worse a fast food place (and often a real restaurant). Nailing a few things is much better than half-assing three dozen.

Again, I say Cane’s is gouging. Most expensive large drink at $3 + tax,
Chicken fingers that are truly bland and the damn tendon is still in them. Come on! Fries, may be fresh, but taste like bland frozen grocery store fries. The kicker is that I bought a gallon lemonade a couple of days ago and had remembered the price as something like $7.50. It’s now $11.50. frick that crap and the CEO. I’m out with them.

Upcharging the fck out of what are barely more than spice-free nuggets at this point
I agree the chicken and fries are bland, and I’ve never understood why people liked the place other than solely customer service.
That said, he keeps up charging because people keep paying. When people stop paying, then he’ll reach the point he can’t upcharge more.

Good for Todd but let’s be clear: this is all garbage food.

I've been tempted to drive through at Raising Canes for weeks. Still haven’t done it.
