Yahoo “temporarily” suspending comments on articles

That was the only reason to use Yahoo, the comment section there and Tigerdroppings were the only sane places on the Internet. Commenters would fight back against the race baiting. Comply to the thought police or you will be silenced entirely. “Safe and engaging” my arse.

The comment section isn’t sane on any website

Most liberal media outlets stopped allowing comments.

You should read the WorldStar comments

The reason many news sites have moved away from comments is that they were losing control of the narrative with commenters calling BS on the article. In my experience the comments were more valuable than the article itself. True there is a lot of garbage, but there are usually some very sharp posters that bring a lot to the story.

Yeah the Yahoo comments were pretty based. Not shocking they want to silence them. Again, this censorship just proves the ones that censor have no counter to the arguments they're censoring. People will find other places to discuss their views that might be worse.

Then I suggest you spend a little extra time on the politard board where Zigg and WaydownSouth can give you the reach-around

Cause they always disagree in the comments and disprove the articles

this is the reason I read the OT

By sane I mean not a batshit loony liberal cesspool. The articles about Dwyane Wade’s tranny son looking “adorable” had comments that were not so supportive of the bullshite.

Yahoo still exists?
Yahoo domain websites are still among the most popular, ranking 10th in the world according to the Alexa rankings as of October 2019

I don't know about sane but Yahoo has been a troll fest for about 20 years now. Hell, I used to troll Yahoo Answers all the time.

Comment sections getting removed is the main reason I stopped going to major news websites several years ago.
They slowly started disappearing and I thought I was just missing it, but sure enough they were getting removed.
I mean who the frick goes to these sites to just read these articles with no discussion? It's 2020 for Christ's sake

This is funny, because I was just thinking this. Lol

The Yahoo comments section was an interesting look into how anti-Trump bots find articles to comment on. I am fairly certain some of the writers were intentionally throwing Trump's name into unrelated articles to make it seem like lots of people were commenting on their articles.

Most of them are hive mind but Yahoo was an interesting exception. The top comments were usually blasting the authors for stupidity and Yahoo for being a liberal rag.
