You wouldn’t believe what the most dangerous breed of dog was

Actually you would.

I know a few Rots and Doberman's that were a lot more dangerous than a Pitbull - Just sayin'

in b4 "folks misidentified other breeds of dogs as pits"

I know a few Pitbulls that are more dangerous than rots and dobermans so your point is invalid

Having owned multiple boxers, I'm surprised they're anywhere near this list.

Is this more of an indictment on the breed or the people who own pit bulls and how they raise them?

Let’s just all be thankful that the chihuahua doesn’t weigh 50+ lbs

Read the top of the chart.

I agree with the content, but citing statistics from 2011 in 2023 is just grossly wrong in practice

Can wait for the pibble apologists to show up and show their adorable child biters.

Surprised Schnauzers and maybe Dalmations aren't higher on the list.

im pretty sure in america those are #2 & #3 for dog bites...so yea certainly on one offs...could certainly be more dangerous. but overall....PB is like 7x more likely to bite humans.

Or even 35. "It ain't the size of the dog in the fight that counts...."

No, it makes a person that owned one trashy.
That's called a statical outlier.
Pit bulls are called an extremely dangerous, violent breed because statistically they're much more likely to attack and kill people than any other dog ever by exponential amounts.

A lot of pitbullls can be very sweet dogs but a lot of them are also raised by trash and its no surprise they turn into killing machines
I wouldn't ever get one or want one around the neighborhood but I don't think they are all inherently bad

Had one when I was a small kid. Most protective dog I've ever seen. Wouldn't let the babysitter get near me.

Surprised Great Pyrenees is so high- does this list include knocking old people over or something?

"Just Sayin'" means from what I (ME) have witnessed. Just Sayin' is not a scientific study or not an official study. It just means from what I (ME) have witnessed because I (ME) have had a Dobermsn and it was mean as frick and I know a couple people who have had Rots and they were mean as frick.
