Not trying to be a prisoner of the moment, but shite!

The only other one in recent memory that stacks up imo is the Cavs/Warriors Game 7 where Kyrie hit that 3.

Based on the Jokic phenomenon and the quality of basketball and just how badly Team USA wanted it at the end, I'd say that that was one of the top 5 greatest basketball games every played.

Just my opinion, obviously.

It would be up there, but one team can’t go 0-9 on 4th quarter 3s and have it be the greatest ever.

Bogi and the other Serb who'd been draining all of the 3s definitely ran out of gas, or else I think Serbia would've had it. But part of it was the USA players switching on everything in the 4th quarter and playing defense like their life was on the line.

The intensity from both sides was pretty incredible.

All I know, is a team composed of supposedly the best brothers in the world, could barely beat a team of white boys from a broken off fragment of Yugoslavia.

Yeah but one great player and a bunch of decent white boys shouldn’t be able to take the mighty U.S. to the wire.

What were they doing before this point?

First basketball I've watched in years and years.

Someone should give that embiid guy a contract. He is very big and looks like he has played before.

Serbia definitely wanted it way more and was way more focused through three quarters, but I still don't think it's nearly that simple.

Team USA has been practicing together for one month. Serbia has been practicing together for several years.

Jokic is the best player in the world. Bogdonovich would be a borderline all-star if he was a featured player. They have 4 or 5 other players who are playing in the NBA or should be playing in the NBA.

This would be like taking Lebron James in his prime and 5 of his Cavs teammates who'd been on the squad for the last 3 or 4 years and having them go up against a group of NBA all-stars that just started practicing together last month.

One game. 40 minutes. Anything could happen.

Making 5 threes a quarter for the first 3 and then none in the 4th is a huge deal. And why the US came back. Depth paid off in the end.

Serbia can't practice long either, since they have some NBA players. Is that right?

^^^Playing" together probably would've worked better than "practicing" together for anyone looking to get technical. (Feel free to go back at Serbia's FIBA Cup roster and compare it to the US Fiba Cup roster)

the disdain that some of y'all have for this team, the US team, is mind numbing.... politics has broken some of y'all, for real...

i do hope you eventually find your love and ability to root for the US, eventually...

The greatest basketball game of all time is a team with 12 NBA all stars against a team with 1 NBA all star?
