Is it just completely impossible to find ammo currently?

It's nearly impossible to find 30-06, 308, 223, and hundreds other more popular calibers. What makes you think this one would be special?

Looked on ammo seek and it’s pretty bleak. Been making my own for a while.

Not sure where you are located, but Academy in Hammond has 308 and 6.5 Creedmoor.

Tell me about it. I’ve been looking. Glad I have a few boxes to hunt with.

I imagine the suppliers are using them all themselves.

Federal/CCI/winchester/remington are all probably using them as fast as they can make/get them for loaded ammo. Profit margin would certainly be higher on loaded ammo i would think and if you've got orders on the books and still coming in for it, why not make it?

Call Simmons in Bastrop, if he doesn't have it nobody will.

Back when the run started, I went and bought everything that I could find. Primers, bullets and powder.

I think I have right around 8000 small pistol primers and 2000-3000 bullets.
4000 small rifle and 4000 small rifle magnum primers.

don't have as much large pistol or rifle but enough to get buy.

Really glad I did now.

I've bought several boxes in the last few months, always picking up a box or two when I run across it.

Academy in Katy and my local gun range have plenty .308. It’s expensive but available.

Yeah .308 is expensive but at least available. I have 100 rounds.

9mm OTOH is just hard to find at all.

Good job. Use a 120 gr Nosler Ballistic Tip, Sierra spire point, Speer Gold Dot or 125 gr Nosler Partition and whitetail deer won't stand a chance.
