There is another thread on lithiums in general but I’m looking for any thoughts/feedback on a 72 volt lithium conversion, and on charger, accessory power (assuming connecting to same posts on new battery and there is a transformer in my bad boy), battery brand etc.

I just did a Lithium conversion on my
Beast 48 at Cart Transformers in Denham Springs. I went from 6 lead acid batteries to 1 Lithium. Was told my range would be 25-30 miles. So far it’s been very impressive with regards to power and range.

I dont know about the bad boy buggies but if you have facebook there is a group called golf carts modified that can help. Buggiesgonewild.com as well but idk how much traffic it has. Regardless of what you get lithium in a golf cart is so much better.
Ecco Battery has a 72v 105ah but I dont know what will fit. They have had a pretty good rep through all the not so great early brands. I have a 72v 150ah in my club car but the compant went belly up. Still runs great tho.

Buddy bought this one: LINK /
Just make sure your cart’s motor doesn’t draw more than 500A at full power for an extended period of time. This battery shuts off at 500A after 30 seconds at that load. Then 3 seconds at 600A load.

If you are on FB there is a pretty good BBB page and there is a ton of info on lithium conversions along with a few that sell the conversion kits. Most everyone that had done if on that page was happy with it.
