Another AR build thread

New to this stuff but I feel like I’m blindly going down a rabbit hole.
I need the OB to guide me in building a great, lightweight hog gun with suppressor. I’ll have a pulsar thermal (already saving $2,500 for it)

Just buy a complete rifle and be done. These will range from $750-2000:

Also, the money can be better spent on the optics/lights more so than the gun.

Are you just throwing shite at the wall hoping something will stick??? Seriously, those guns are all over the map!
You can't go wrong with LMT. My go to AR is an LMT SPM but I do agree with going with a complete firearm.

If you just really want to build something, just buy all BCM parts (without the barrel) and put them together.
For the barrel use a Criterion Core.

I’ve got a Wilson Combat 6.8 SPC and a Thermion 2 XP-50 and it works great. Wilson combat is light weight and accurate so it works way better than my .308 I had the thermal on.

they're definitely the more "popular" brands out there.
there also aren't many brands out there that offer "build kits" or stripped lowers. again, here are the more popular brands in regards to those:
Aero Precision/Ballistic Advantage
Anderson Manufacturing
PSA
Spikes Tactical
Geisslle
SOLGW
Expo Arms
Radian
some of those are $300+ and he could just get a built lower for that on Gunbroker.

.223 is better IMO just because it's cheaper to feed. Pretty quiet with a supressor.
