Any OB reviews on the Magellan YETI knockoff?

Anyone on the OB have experience with the Magellan brand knockoff of the YETI (affectionately dubbed the "MagETI")?
Been looking at getting a super-cooler and have narrowed it down to a Magellan and an RTIC. RTIC will take months to get here, Magellan is currently in stock at my local Academy. Thoughts? $200 for the 52.8qt so about half the price of the comparable YETI.

Any rotomolded cooler will be fine. They heavier coolers have more insulation or so I am told, so just grab it and check the weight of it. It should be fine.
ETA: I just read some reviews. Apparently, some of them have issues with warping on the lid when they get hot in the sun. It doesn't seem to be a wide spread issue, but just a heads up.

Do they have white? I find my lighter colored coolers keep ice longer when in the sun.

i did not know they were sourcing an ice chest like this...obviously its an asian-made knock off but the price is right. hard to believe it will not at least be adequate

I heard that early on there were issues with the lid warping from being in direct sun for a period...then would return to normal once out of the sun...
may have been individual issues or been addressed now...

Yeah I saw 3 of the 26 reviews mentioned this, but they seem to have solved the issue.

Crazt to think a high dollar ice chest would have taken over the market like it has. I guess you put a high dollar on anything, people will buy and the rest will follow

Wouldn't buy a brown cooler. But that's a good price in comparison to the other companies.

Just because it'll absorb more heat? I hate white coolers - I can never keep them clean looking.

Get the YetI I got an 85qt at Costco for 279 a few years back. 85 is a rare size but im sure you can find some deals. The 10 days on ice is BS though I have gotten 5 days. Indestructable. A knock off i donno man. I wouldnt do it.

Just curious. I know the YETIs are great, I just was wondering if I would be getting the same or very similar product for half the cost. Don't see the need to spend the extra money if I can manage not to.
